PIONEER SQUARE, SAN DIMAS

CHA is working with the City of San Dimas to create a complete transit-integrated village at the west gateway of historic Downtown San Dimas. In partnership J Lou Development, the hotel developer behind Hotel Normandie, and Arteco Partners, the firm responsible for the revitalization of Downtown Claremont, CHA assembled the team and delivered a proposal that garnered widespread community support. The conceptual plan currently includes a 60-room boutique hotel, 75,000 sf of commercial space and 40 loft/townhome residences on a site that reserves over half of the space to a main square and paseos seamlessly connecting Bonita Ave. and Pioneer Park. The delivery of Pioneer Square anticipates the arrival of the second phase of the Metro Gold Line extension to Pomona, which will stop in San Dimas a quarter mile from the site.
