The University of Redlands selected the CHA team to lead the effort of creating a truly remarkable “town and gown” neighborhood, University Village. A 30-acre transit oriented neighborhood master plan at the MetroLink/Arrow Line terminus station at the University of Redlands, University Village will be centered around a town square, anchored by a 5-screen Laemmle Theatre and neighborhood/University serving independent bookstore, a small grocery, cool bars/cafes and a variety of housing types offered at diverse price points. CHA has successfully engaged the University, the surrounding community and a variety of development professionals from southern California through a three-day intensive charrette working towards the University Village Master Plan
